Badin hosted the first Badin Hardaway Powwow during its 2013 centennial celebration. As it was then, the family-friendly intertribal gathering will be set along the water front of Badin Lake in a beautiful 14-acre lawn. Expect local and regional participation and experience an indigenous native cultural rite. In addition to host drum Good Thunder, Mike and Jeannie Cranford return as head man and woman dancer, the 2019 Badin Hardaway Powwow, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sat., Oct. 26, will include food and craft vendors.
